Korea Health Promotion Institute is contributing not only to expanding physical infrastructure but also intangible infrastructure, such as knowledge and program operations, in order to create an health promotion environment.
Local Healthcare Infrastructure Improvement
We improve the local healthcare facilities and supply healthcare and medical equipment, so as to provide high-quality healthcare services to the local residents and to improve the accessibility of under privileged groups to the health and medical care.
Health Promotion Research Management
We manage and evaluate surveys and researches, supported by the National Health Promotion Fund, for the purpose of health promotion and the prevention of non-communicable diseases by way of healthcare education, nutritional improvement, oral health promotion, disease prevention, practice of healthy life, etc.
Civil Subsidization Management
We manage and evaluate private-public programs in which the government supports the projects that are desired to be promote by private sector for the promotion of health projects.
